MI-TRALE HOLDS ORV SAFETY CLASS JUNE 14, 2014
MI-TRALE is pleased to provide a free ORV Safety Class for all riders children and adults! The class will be held on Saturday June 14 from 8:00am-3:00pm Held at the North Country Snowmobile Club Clubhouse located at 106 Old Norwich Trail Rd Ontonagon MI 49953
Pre-registration is required. CONTACT JAMES ALTENBURG AT 906-883-3111, CALL DURING HOURS OF 6:00PM AND 9:00PM FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
A PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST ACCOMPANY A CHILD 10 YEARS OF AGE OR YOUNGER.
All ORV operators under 16 years old are required to possess a valid safety training certificate when operating an ORV. To obtain a certificate, the operator must take an ORV safety education course and pass the certification exam.
The classroom course will focus on safe and responsible off road vehicle operation. Students will learn safe riding techniques, pre-ride safety inspection, the risks of riding, safety gear, laws and requirements, preparing for the unexpected, ways to protect the environment and good trail etiquette.
