John, what factors justify a "Freeze Warning". I live in MN and we have been issued a freeze warning by the weather service. temp + durration??

From the NWS Glossary:

<dt>Freeze Warning</dt><dd>Issued during the growing season when surface temperatures are expected to drop below freezing over a large area for an extended period of time, regardless whether or not frost develops.
