According to Accuweather this is the date that the average high temp in Bergland begins to decline... I fully expect this date to be like flipping a switch and it will get colder. I believe everything I read on the internet.

Wow, I thought the date would've been earlier than August 6. Interesting.

It is actually very interesting to look at the data on the average high temps.
August the average temp declines by 7 degrees
Sept -12 degrees
Oct -15 degrees
Nov - 15 degrees
Dec - 9 degrees
Jan - Temp rises by 1 degree

Average low hits freezing on Oct 21st
Average high only gets to freezing Nov 24th
