Front shocks 2002 polaris

02 700 clasic w/M 10.Are the front shocks rebuildable,or buy new.I stand on the front of the running boards and the the front goes down alot.Rock side to side they seem really soft.I get off and it only comes up a fraction of what it went down.(the sled has 7000 miles plus)

I do believe they are fox re-buildable on that year. 7000 miles is about 3500 too many for a re-build.

Shocks

Just had my fox shock rebuilt with JBshocks.com, Check out web site..can call him or leave a messge. He will get back to you. He can tell you for sure if they are rebuildable or not. I have a 1999 500xc and they are NOT. There is something like a valve nipple somewhere on the shock and it means it's rebuildable...or something like that.

if those are INDY SELECT shocks they are not rebuildable. if they are Fox,or aluminum RydeFX 9200 series they can be rebuilt. not sure what came on classics for 02. it should say in the owners manual.

is what is on the shock.Is the shock duel action shock(same preasure both ways)?
it does have a valve (screw driver slot)on the bottom of the shock

that limited info tells me those are NON rebuildable shocks........take them to your local shop,they can tell you for sure.
