Front spring tension

I know all sleds are different. My buddy has a zrt 600 triple and I was looking at his front springs and they were cranked down more than half way to the limit. Seems awful tight to me. He is also running 8 inch carbides. I have been playing with spring tension alot lately to try to get the ideal set-up on my sleds but this seems way too tight!!

Coil over spring tention, limiter strapes, shocks, tortion spring settings are all there for you to adjust your sled to your liking. Nothing on any sled, that you can adjust for ride, is to much if that is the way you like it. Keep adjusting and use it all until you get it the way it works for you.

That might be a good set-up for THAT sled. The older sleds are much lower to the ground, and the center of gravity is also much lower. I dont know much about Arctic cats, but IIRC they dont have tippy front ends with the way the geometry and COG is on those sled. Generally older sleds are much less tippy, less ski lift than the newer sleds.

You have to compare apples to apples, and since each rider is different, that is virtually impossible to do.
