Not sure if you are using a breath deflector like a No-Fog mask or the type that can be fit into the helmet, but it is pretty much a must to prevent fogging on goggles until spring riding, then can go without it.

Shift, i have the same goggles, 89xi turbos with the light sesitive lense first year riding with the open face and goggles. I have had to play around alittle with them, and get proper fit to my nose, and i use the nose piece, also check to make sure your lense is'nt cracked... just a thought!!!!!

I have the same goggles and have never had a frost problem. Try taking off the nose piece and use a no fog mask or the breath deflector for your helmet. Mine actually rest on top of the breath deflector on my nose so there is no way for the breath to get into the goggles. Good luck!

Oops - Yeah, what John said.

I have the same scott goggles. I love them...except sometimes the fine snow gets inside and frost over. It isn't from breathing. I am not sure if this is your issue also.

I've had two sets of them.. The first set was a bust. they would fog up all the time and I had probs each time I used them. I tried everything. I must have had some sort of air leak or seal problem. I bot a second set and they are great, no fog probs at all.

might try a new set and keep that for a spare.

Something must be wrong with the googles. I use the same brand and model. No problems. try a no fog spray before you pitch them. I use "Zwax no fog" spray and it works. Amber double lens. with a standard $6.00 balaclava (nothing fancy).

Also Just a FYI..

Clean them with STEAM.. Repeat 3 times..

10x better

Whats with the steam?

It is a most intriguing idea..........

How did you produce the steam without burning the heck out of your hands when putting the goggles in the steam path? Do you do only do the inside or both?
