On my Fusion, the coolant hose runs underneath the bumper cover. Snow melts on the hose and then freezes and expands and then pushes the bumper cover away from the coolant line to the point that the plastic fastners on the bumper cover broke this weekend. Anyone else have this issue? The other Fusion in my group hasn't had this problem, and it appears that the coolant hose was rerouted in the IQs. The replacement cover is only $30, and I might be able to fix it by putting some bolts in it instead, but I'm wondering if there is something else wrong here. Perhaps if the cover was tight, then snow wouldn't be able to get it there and melt and then turn into ice. Thanks.
