FXR Adrenaline & Absolute zero

Anyone have any experience with the newer FXR Adrenaline jackets? I'm looking for a warm jacket to replace my old Rheima/Yamaha jacket from 2002. I'm also looking for some feedback on the absolute zero jacket from Doo. I wear my tech vest under my jacket too.

I tried on the FXR adrenaline, but feel like the collar is really high and with my helmet on could feel like I've got a neck brace on. Does this calm down a little after wearing the jacket a few times? Going to try on the absolute zero tomorrow.

Tried the Klim Keweenaw on yesterday. It didn't fit as well as the FXR adrenaline. I also didn't like how there wasn't any zippered interior pockets...only pouches placed down low on the interior of the jacket. I carry my iPod in my interior pocket and zip it in. I then put my InReach GPS in my other zippered interior pocket. I wear the tech vest under my jacket and the FXR seemed to accommodate that a little better. I have a 12 year old Klim "layered" jacket and that has become my son's now. Wasn't bad, but I like/want one jacket that is insulated.

Darren I don’t remember the model grades of FXR but my Bibs are FXR Team with float insulation. As I remember the FXR quality took a big jump at the Team level. Take a look on line to make sure your pursuing top of the line which you’re used to. Keeweena Klim is always smaller than other Klim models One thing I liked about FXR was their multitude of sizes always can find the right size. For me I prefer the small FXR logo jackets but that’s me. Black or gray was good for me. Keep looking plenty available online.

I agree on FIT, and COMFORT, over brand, any day. Lots of very good, cold weather, snowmobile clothing available now days! I'm not at all pushing Klim. My Klim Keweenaw jacket/coat is several years old? I has a multitude of pockets/storage, some with zippers. My bibs are Choko, brand, "NorTex", (Gortex type) insulated. I love them. Get what you are good with!

I highly recommend the Doo Absolute Zero, right now I have the bibs and gloves, no jacket, but they are warm and wind resistant, I believe most dealers have 25% off right now if not Rob’s in Johnson Creek does

I did get the absolute zero jacket today. Yes, 25% off. I bought the FXR Adrenaline yesterday. Not sure if I'm keeping that one. I like them both but the Absolute zero has as softer collar and I think that will work better with the helmet. I don't like the feeling of everything being so tight around my neck. Kinda like having a neck brace on. Right now I'm leaning towards keeping both and giving them both a shot. My current jacket is 20 years old so I don't buy often.

I do like how the absolute zero feels like it's broken in already as the FXR adrenaline seems a little stiff.

Lol. I know you all toooo well. You’ll wear the FXR when riding Yamaha xtx with Elkas and the new Doo zero jacket will be worn on a Doo Spring deal 2021 sled. Lov it! Wait until next week for Doo release and the deed will be done.

Over the years, my Doo jackets always had soft, comfortable neck/collars. Wifes jackets the same.

Abe, I bought both jackets in Ontario. FXR at Royal Distributing in Innisfil and the other in Barrie at St. Onge Recreation. Nice people in both places.

Yep, a uncomfortable collar is very annoying on a days ride. Good luck! You being in Canada helps, what was the exchange rate?
