gabriel makes ryd fx shocks???

just bought a set of ryd fx shocks(thru dealer) for my sled and it has gabriel engraved into the body of the shock and there made in mexico now?? ive used tthat brand on my car and truck and they were complete junk.

should i return them???

It looks like they're now owned by the private equity firm OpenGate Capital, and run under the name Ride Control, LLC. Investment info still shows ArvinMeritor Ride Control of Canada as mfg and marketing Ryde FX products. Gabriel is also run under Ride Control, LLC.

Manufacturing for RydeFX was moved from Canada to Mexico last year and the prices of parts have increased as much as 50%.
