Gay to Lac La Belle - Trail 122

I see reports from the tourism board that this trail is currently closed. I thought I read here that someone said they groomed it and they road it but was bumpy still.
Can someone shed some light on this and if it is open or not? Thanks

If I am not mistaken, the Gay to Lac La Belle trail number is 133. 122 runs from Lake Linden to Gay. You can still get to Gay (according to Keweenaw website) from either Lac La Belle (via 133) or Phoenix (via Snow Gauge Trail 124).

I'm guessing the OP meant Trail 122 from Gay to Lake Linden. In which yes, it is closed for logging. See link below for more details.

Thanks all. I was looking at a map with the wrong trail numbers. I was asking about trail 133 from Gay to Lac La Belle and if that was open. But thanks for the 122 info form Lake Linden to Gay. I did not know that was closed.

Was at Bear Belly's at Lac Labelle today, a guy had sunk his sled crossing a water hole on 133. They were drying his bibs and coat in their dryer for him. We rode it on Tuesday and there were several places where water was running over the trail, so be on the look out if you take this way.

The 124 trail from Phoenix is such a good piece of trail, that is hard for me to take the short way to Lac LaBelle even if trail 133 was in excellent shape.

Not today though, open water and no recent grooming. It was 27 miles to Gay from 3 that started rough so I turned around.
