Geese flying Sept 4.

Woke up this morning to hear a giant flock of Canadian Honkers flying south right over my house. Seems a wee bit early for this.

What a coincidence. As I am reading your post, I hear them outside here. I go and check, and sure as heck, there is a flock heading south right over our house. I would agree with it being kinda early for this, but I'll take it as being a good sign.

I've noticed them flying over the golf course here in Spooner two seperate times already and that was over a week ago.

Been seeing them start to gather into larger groups. Thats always the first sign I look for! Starting to get excited as I missed last years season due to unemployment. Had to sell both sleds and trailer last Oct. Been back to work since the Spring and hope to be renting this season. Love to see the geese heading south as it means I will heading north before I know it!
