Good luck Ubee, Are you actually moose hunting again? Go take a look at wildhurstlodge.com. Its a resort just a couple miles from our cabin (and one of our favorite snowmobile stops) and he has pictures of all the moose he has registered so far this year. there's some pretty nice ones in there.

Should be a beautiful weekend coming up, supposed to be mid 60's in Duluth.

Elf,not to far NE of you. Lake Shebandowan on HYw 11 abboout 65 mi.Nw of Thunder Bay !Got to take advantage of my situation as being a non-resident and being able to hunt with my brother who has a hunting /fishing lodge up there!we always have a nice group of guys that can party hunt up there! been doing it since 1999 when they first allowed non-residents in that area! have been real sucessfull but hunt some pretty rugged areas where nobody else wants to shoot one. lots of work when you get one. 1997 I snowmowed from boulder jct/lake shebandowan.3 days up,3 back.most beautifull part was grand maris to shebandowan up the gunflint. was lots of altitude and lakes.lots of nice pit stops around finland mn.hope some leaves drop this week! I see mn. moose 1 time draw for life !

Leaves were down pretty good last weekend near Finland. I was bowhunting and it was nice to actually be able to see in the woods. You should have no problem.

Yeah, the once-in-a-lifetime hunt in MN is like winning the lottery. I am waiting for my kids to get old enough before I start applying for a tag for us. I'll probably be dead before we get it but at least they'll have lots of chances.

Good luck and if you ever need an additional hunter, pick me up on the way through!
