well i had to do a google search like john dee suggested for resizing images. i just took the first one on the list. its pretty easy from there on out. they have a browse button on their page and you hit that button and load your image in their program. they resize it and e-mail it back to you. just save that resized image in a file on your computer and remember where you put it. then you can follow johns directions from there. his directions are page where you enter the general discussion page. it took me a while but i finally got it.

I will try again, but I did follow John's instructions and always got the text of the path, no actual image - thanks. I will try again.

<font color="0000ff">Tracey Glaim:
"I ... always got the text of the path, no actual image"</font>

Now that is strange ... where did the <font color="0000ff">"text of the path"</font> come from? Apparently something you supplied?

That's the first clue: The "path" is not required at all!

You just embed one or more lines like the following in your message (one for each image):
\image{X}

Where the actual "X" value is immaterial, and will only be regurgitated to you in an {upload} prompt when you are later invited to upload the corresponding file.

(This is more meaningful if you are including many images in a single message; if you use a unique identifier value in each image tag then the upload prompt for each individual file will include that unique identifier, thus serving as a clue to yourself as to which image file to browse for in each instance.)
