Go Pro Tips

Go a Go Pro for Christmas and this weekend will be my first attempt at mounting/filming. I have a decent understaning of how to get it going but any setting's I want to consider other than normal for filming our sled trip? Also, what is the best method for editing the raw video after the trip to make a 2-4 minute summary of the weekend? Any cool ideas from your experience would be appreciated. Gregg

I would suggest starting with the normal settings. This stuff gets real technical real fast. Stick to the basics and learn as you go. If you've seen any of my stuff on here it's edited with a program called PowerDirector 12.

I started out with a program called Pinnacle and it was OK but not great. PowerDirector is much more advanced and User Friendly. Mine came from Best Buy but you can also find them On-line and like anything else, you get what you pay for. Good Luck!
