I absolutely love these goggles. On my (Christmas present) second pair. Still have the ones that are two years old as my now back up. My bro and another snow-mo buddy also swear by them. The LS is absolutely the best in my opinion. Limited fogging, and with the extended nose cone great for warmth...Pat's Yamaha stocks them in house!

When did these light sensitive lenses come out? Is that like self tinting? Photo grey? type of thing. Were do I find such thing? I have Scott, Rudy Project, Zeal and Spy goggles. Swapping lenses in the frames is miserable. carrying more than a spare pair is a pain also.

have had the scott's, were OK but decided to go with the 509's this year. Best goggle ever. glad I spent the extra coin on the 509's. Scott's don't fit the helmet as well and leave a spot in the temple area that get's cold (common with most goggle's I've used), not true with the 509's, no cold spots at all, Hands down best goggles I've ever had. (I've used oakley, scotts, smiths, spys, and dragons, but love the 509's and will never go back to anything else)

cdsprague,
Do the goggles have a lifetime guarantee??? I bot my scott 89xi's last yr and they have fogged each and everytime horribly...Now with that being said the goggles had and have great reviews and I have some friends who have em and love em...I just must have a bad set...I do have the light sensitive ones and the right side ices up between the lenses and rarely goes away...It has made me stop multiple times while my partners haven't had to..I've heard such good things that I just bot a new pair last week of the same goggles, although I bot the amber ones and may consider changing my lenses to see it that helps..I'm wondering if I broke some kind of seal between the lenses....

I'll give it another round.

I've got a pair and really like them. I used to have fogging issues with my old pair of Scotts but never have trouble with these. What's really funny is after you have them on for an hour or so in bright sunny conditions and then take them off it's really tough on the eyes!
