yes, All 800's that are that new have DPM, You will need some lighter pin weights in you primary clutch. Gearing really isn't necessary but since you are going to have the chaincase apart already it wouldn't hurt to drop a couple teeth on the top gear. Also, if you don't know what your clutch clickers are yet now is the time to familiarize yourself with them.
