I have a friend who never shot a buck and hasnt' seen anything this year so I let him sit my treestandand I went 120 yards away and sat beneath a tree on the edge of an alfalfa field and open pasture.
He saw this buck and 2 others but couldn't get a shot, meanwhile, I drank a couple "pops", had a smoke, was just hanging out and then this guy walked directly across the field and right to the only tree of substance around, which I was hiding behind, I shot him at 10 yards on the ground, too much fun.
Only regret is that I was hoping my friend could have done it.
