Good News/Bad News

First the Good News, Wisconsin's governor is throwing us a bone when he opens the State Parks on Friday, May 1rst. If you recall he closed many of the "peoples parks" earlier in this terrible crisis of ours but now they're going to be open.

Now for the Bad News, NO RESTROOMS. The state parks will be open but the restrooms will remain closed. Social distancing, you know.
They're anticipating record crowds this weekend and 34 of the parks that were closed earlier due to "unprecedented crowds" will reopen.
But NO RESTROOMS, really? Find a tree or a bush, maybe a big rock and let her rip.

Now this is not much of a hardship for us snowmobilers, we've been using the great outdoors since it all began. But for those of higher standards and refined tastes, stepping or sitting in something left behind may be cause for concern. Just thought I'd mention it.

See ya out there!

Watch out for the dog dung out there too. Some owners dont pick up when their dog drops a deuce on the trail.

I'm happy people are pushing back, and getting our "leaders" to wake up a little. Can't be any less safe than your local grocery or big box store, probably a safer place to be in the grand scheme of things.

On the bathrooms, were those Government Paid Employees that do this maintenance, on our tax dollars, furloughed, or laid off? If the answer is no, then why no bathrooms?? If the answer is yes, then get them back to work!!

I get your point, but the last thing I'm concerned with right now is having to grab my popsicle stick to remove some crap from my shoes......

My doctor called me and said ”snomoman, I have bad news and very bad news”, I said “oh no holy crap, well give me the bad news first”, he said ”the bad news is you’ve only got two weeks to live” then I said ”what’s the very bad news?” he said “we been trying to get a hold of you for the last two weeks”
