So how did this winter turn out for your biz? Seemed like a pretty good year to me every place I went was packed during the week not to
metion weekends. WUPMI had good snow January until now and rest of Midwest had little to no snow so we did most of riding in WUP.

I would have thought it would have been really good to the biz's that were in the snowy areas. Not much wide spread snow again this year. Slow start also.WUP and Keewee busy, busy from our view when there. The best places standing room only to wait on place to park your butt!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Biggest loss of revenue is missing all of the business from Christmas to New Years plus an early end to the season. I would think it was a tough year for businesses UP there. I usually make at least 4 trips, but only 2 this year. :(

IDk last 2 years before this season lots of subzero weather were like no snow days in WUP no one riding. Yes conditions were great then but not so many peeps in the WUP due to very cold weather. This year WUP was very busy Jan thru now and still had best snow conditions in Midwest in December and Xmas. Interesting question thinking back.

Going in to the season knowing it was an El Nino year, I didn't want to waste my money buying a Michigan permit that I might not use. By the time the season got rolling, we did a couple of Wisconsin trips and I never bothered going up into the UP.

i would think this year paled in comparison to the previous last "two" cold years. like someone noted this year didn't get started until 1st or 2nd week of jan and is already done 2nd week of march. in them cold years peeps were riding that whole month of march and prolly some of april. also even though it maybe too cold to ride for some, some toughed it out and rode. when it's real cold some people will still ride. when there's no snow, kinda hard to do that.

I had a similar conversation with a business owner up there Sunday night. While the totals weren't in, their comment was it was shorter, but they were packed the entire time. So much so, they needed to set up more frequent deliveries. So, the thought was hopefully the brisker sales will make up for the shorter season and it will end up as something typical.

Yep that is how I saw it in WUP heads in bed Jan till now no real ebb & flow just flow. March is always transitional just more dramatic this year.
