GoPro Helmet Cam Mounting

Hi, recently picked up a GoPro and was looking for some tips from anyone with experience on mounting locations. I use a full face helmet with lift up shield. Was thinking about mounting it on the top center of my helmet, but have also seen them mounted on the side of the helmet. Also, what about sled mounting? Will the video be too bouncy if mounted on the sled? Thanks.

I have mine mounted on top of my helmet and it works good there but I wear a motocross style, I dont think you will be able to open your shield unless you put it way back there and you might film alot of your helmet. Before you put a mount down hold it where you want it and walk around and then watch it and adjust if needed.

Thanks for the reply. That is a good idea, and your right, I probably would not be able to get it far enough forward if mounted on top. I think it will most likely end up on the side of my helmet. I will play around with it.
