gore-tex is sponsor of blue ribbon coalition

Very interesting... Wonder how many hippie tree-hugger manufacturers that use Gore-Tex in their garments (i.e. Patagonia, REI, Arc'teryx) are going to stop using them now that they support the BRC? Probably none.

Gore-tex sponsers the "other groups" as well.

Funny you wrote that. Just before I went out west I made a 1st time trip into a REI in MPLS to buy a folding saw. Had my snowmobile jacket on. Doing a little site seeing in the store... The people were staring at me like I was a black personn at a KKK meeting. I had to laugh to myself when they asked me if I wanted the join "Their" co-op at check out.

Gore Tex has to keep all of its consumers happy. I think NASCAR should try to become a sponsor the Seirra Club. LOL If the money was big enough, they'd take it!!!

The problem with motor and non-motor shared-use trails is the same problems happening in snowmobiling. For every 50 responsible riders, there's one (drunk? coked up?) idiot ruining it for everybody. Mountain biking trails that a group of 50+ people spend an entire weekend working on and get ruined by one person on a dirtbike? It happens, and it's likely not the fault of anyone here, but we're all guilty by association. Don't even get my started on idiots who use trails when they're muddy.
