Got a Letter From the Internal Revenue Yesterday

At first I thought damn, the IRS is auditing me. However, when I opened the envelope it was just a notice that my economic impact payment was direct deposited. The letter was signed by Trump.

So snowbuilder I hope the IRS said you are at least getting something.

We are doing exactly what they wanted us to do . We are spending it locally. Ordering a beef on Monday, had a hog go in yesterday. Plus a few little things. We are doing our part to stimulate the local economy.

My wife got a letter from the Unemployment office.
She's self employed, so it was quite different experience to apply.
She was afraid to open it, when she did. It said she'd been underpaid $1220. So she'll be getting more a week than she had been, I guess we'll find out next week.
Still haven't got the federal check yet, no direct deposit. Good thing we don't "need" it, to get by.

If she files a Federal Schedule C she can get the PPP forgivable loan too.
Multiply line 31 times 12 and divide by 2.5; money in the bank.

You can sign up to have you stimulus check direct deposited into your account. The IRS might not have your banking information if you had to pay in 2018 or 2019, but the IRS has a web site where you can provide this information. Direct deposit is the way to go. I got my stimulus payment on April 15th by direct deposit.

Here is some links to info and a link to IRS direct deposit website.

Are you sure this is correct? Line 31 is Net Profit (or Loss) for the entire year.

My brother-in-law was informed that the $2400 rebate that he was supposed to get went to his back child support, I always was kind of wondering about that, he was hospitalized for a while and just could never catch up with his payments, his exwife was a miserable person who had a vendetta against him, she said if he ever came back to Illinois she would have him arrested, he lives in Oregon now
