I have a Lowrance XOG...got the maps from GPSsledmaps, but I need some advice:
1) what mounting bracket have you used for this unit?
2) I'm running an old Yamaha Exciter (no battery) and I saw a thread last year showing how to hook up a cig adapter to the to the electrical system so that you could charge the GPS unit. I seem to remember that I'd need a rectifier. I think there was a guy building and selling them from this forum for like $30 or $40. Anyone have that info?
That thread (and the pictures to go with it!) seems to have been lost in the transition to the new board.
