GPS mount

There was a booth at novi snow show selling GPS mounts for new skidoos, Yamaha's and cats. I can't find info I brought home or anything on line. I think it cost @ 150.00. Any help would be great. Thanks..

You can make your own for way less. Go to www.gpscheap.com I got my Ram parts from them. You can get the waterproof clear faced bag many places. Attach the two and you have what that guy was selling. The girl in the booth was of no help when I asked her questions.

That looks like a Lowrance XOG. I burned thru 3 of them. #4 is now taking forever to find signal. I suspect they have a set unit life built in them.
Just downloaded the 2015 Red pine mapping onto my Garmin 600t camo GPS. The hardwire mount called an AMPS mount has a special key that locks it to the mount. Kinda like that. Hardwire is the only way to go. Darn plug for gps's tend to get snow in them and vibrate out loosing contact. The Garmin was a hugh step forward with the topo maps included.

jus a 20 dollar used garmin on ebay...loaded free red pine maps...works well...comes in handy when getting lost

I ended up paying the $39.00 for a 2015 updated map. My free map SD card some how disappeared. Suspect it would not work in new Garmin anyways.
