There was a booth at novi snow show selling GPS mounts for new skidoos, Yamaha's and cats. I can't find info I brought home or anything on line. I think it cost @ 150.00. Any help would be great. Thanks..
The company is Trailsystems out of Lansing, Michigan.
I just ordered one and will be installing today on my 2014 1200x.
Ouch
Why do you say ouch???????????????
That looks like a Lowrance XOG. I burned thru 3 of them. #4 is now taking forever to find signal. I suspect they have a set unit life built in them.
Just downloaded the 2015 Red pine mapping onto my Garmin 600t camo GPS. The hardwire mount called an AMPS mount has a special key that locks it to the mount. Kinda like that. Hardwire is the only way to go. Darn plug for gps's tend to get snow in them and vibrate out loosing contact. The Garmin was a hugh step forward with the topo maps included.
jus a 20 dollar used garmin on ebay...loaded free red pine maps...works well...comes in handy when getting lost
