OK. So I loaded MN, Mich,Wisc and Ontario sled maps onto chips for my XOG. Since these are snowmobile maps I was hoping to see Bars and Gas Stations built into these maps but there are none to be found. Do I have to enter them all manually once I am there or what?

Bars? really. Gas stations are already in your XOG. You can overlay the maps without a card. Also, Then you get the gas station & restaurant feature. Did you do the free maps?

Loaded all the maps last year when they were free. I think they cost $ now. First I put all of them on one chip but it took forever to load so I did it over again and just put on one state per chip. Have never been able to figure out how to overlay normal map over or under sled maps. It seems like it is either one or the other. Maybe I need different maps??!!!

I had my oldest son overlay the www.gpssledmaps.com maps over the regular road maps. I don't know how he did it but he is upstairs doing nothing, I could hook him up with you on it. This is on a Lowrance XOG.

I do know that you need a cord that resembles your Lowrance power cord on one end and has a plug n play end on the other. Verison has such a cord to download stuff onto my phone from my computer. he used that cord and followed the instructions on the Map web site. 5-10 min. and done. Free maps! very acurate too!

That is very generous of you Polarisrider1. I am at work and don't have any of this stuff with me right now. It IS a lowrance XOG. I will go home and charge it up and locate my chips and perhaps contact you from home. Thank You.
