Anyone use gps when riding? I have heard of downloading trails onto gps and using them when riding and am not too familiar with it, can you download trails to any kind of gps by just paying for the download online? How much does it usually cost to get trails to your gps? the map days are getting old and I am thinking on updating to a gps on my sled for when i'm in areas i'm not familiar with, any input is much appreciated.

Try gpssledmaps.com, they have free downloads and some you can buy also.

They have them for all various brands of gps's.

are you pleased with riding with gps or is it not all it's cracked up to be? does it just show state trails or do county/club trails show up on the gps maps as well?

I haven't actually used it yet. There are some guys on here that have and they said it's pretty good though.

According to their site; they have logging roads on it too. It's made from some guys just riding trails so I imagine that there's a lot of trails on there besides the state ones.

I'll let you know as soon as I use it. Hoping to ride around the 15th of Dec!
