Sand Point not on sled. Go from downtown or the boat launch of the ferry dock. Island trail will always be moguls. Minutes after a storm, the regulars tear it up
The ice has a lot of ice heaves. If you have not dealt with this before watch out. Kind of stuff that removes skis, damages suspensions, launches riders, or make you eat handlebars. If you dont know the area and ice conditions, ride like your grandma would. I removed a ski and suspension last year when it was supposed to be smooth. North shore of island was insane. in the bay heading towards Christmas close to shore always heaves. Its really a cool experience I would do it. But dont be an idiot out there.
