Grand Marais Conditions

Not sure about Grand Marais, but I talked to a lady at the place im staying in paradise last week and they had no snow on the ground. I don't think they do still if they do its very little. They are supposed to get 6-9 inches tonight based on Accuweather.com forecast. But time will tell there. If you look at the NCN cams around that area there doesn't look to be much.

Anyone have any info on conditions around Grand Marais, Lutsen, Gunflint Trail?
Gr. Marais, Lutsen MN is all ridable. North Shore trail is mostly groomed . Not sure about Gunflint, we rode mainly Lutsen , Issabella, Finland area.

I do that too cuz I'm a yooper from Sault Ste. Marie originally Just wanted him to get good info.

Just got back from North Shore. We stayed at the Knotted Pine in Isabella. Don't go there as the trails were full of trees and brush that has not been cleared or groomed. If you do, bring a saw and spend an hour helping clear the brush. Yesterday, Jan 2, we trailered north to The North Shore Trail which was in good condition and was groomed both Fri and Sat night. Going into Grand Marais is doable, but very thin. We tried to go up the Gunflint, but that was not groomed. We went just a bit past Devils Track Lake before bailing on that plan. All the Finland area trails were nice and freshly groomed.
