We are giving up another hot spot! when you look at the long line of sleds at the Gas station then I guess others have found out about this place too! We stay at the place out on the point by the coast guard station. they have a pool, hot tub, sauna. They have a decent breakfast too and a huge gift shop with fair pricing. I was told at Novi that this property is owned by same owners as the Dog patch in Munising. Not sure if they advertise here. (my computer is set up to only see forum on JDee and who is on and nothing else). It is a blast to ride there in the winter on H58!
I'd be REAL careful riding high speed on H58. It's just speculation but don't forget the nails that were sprinkled along there in the summer to discourage traffic there. I'd ride resectively because someone somewhere has a problem.
H-58 is part of the crazy 8's. trail 8,88 and 888. grommers run it multiple times a day. main route from Grand Marais towards Munising. It runs to the north of Kingston Plains and Adams road. Great memories.Valid point, but those problems didn't occur until the road was improved and paved. H-58 has been a snowmobile route connecting Munising and Grand Marais for decades without incident or problems. H-58 is also been a major part of the Grand Marais trail system as well.
I just hope it remains a part of snowmobiling in that area. It is a great ride!!!
Where does a person find trail info for here?

At least it's not from some idiotic mine like elsewhere in the UP.
