Grand Marais MI this weekend?

With the warm up recently, any snow left to ride? Forecast is cooler this week and into the weekend but I'd appreciate any current info on conditions. We'll be riding out of G Marais. thanks

We are thinking of heading out from Munising on Friday morning and riding through Grand Marais and staying at Halfway Lake on Friday night. Hoping the return of colder weather and a little snow will help. Any insight would be great!

We were around Grand Marais Saturday and it was really rough. Can't believe getting into town was fun. No grooming in a couple days. As for halfway lake, you will have some dry/muddy roads to contend with to get there by sled. Best bet to get there would be from trail 415 take CR422 East to CR407. The ditches North to the resort sign and turn right. There was plenty of snow out away from the towns, and Seney seemed to be the only ones grooming. Off trail was fabulous.
