Seney reporting this morning they're down to 3/4 of a groomer! Currently running one groomer with a broken front plow! I hope they get back up and running soon.
The grade from the Bear Trap to Seney was very rough already. At least 4-5 days above freezing at night means no grooming. Holiday weekend and sled dogs too!

Any decent trail riding is pretty much going to end on Friday with mid 40's temps for the weekend & the next few days after that, Seney's John Deere has been nothing but trouble for the past few years & its not that old. The guys from SSA do the best they can with what they have to work with, the one with the plow problem is fixed, I think but they are probably not going to use it any time soon because you cant groom soup, I am sure grooming will be suspended due to this warm up. The trails have been awesome for the past few weeks & thought we would be riding thru March. probably wont be trail riding till sometime in March now. Busy holiday weekend people are sure to splash off any chance of a base holding up. Trails will be extra shot by Sunday. The season is not done yet but when we get more snow you better use it because it may not be there for long with the way these warm ups have been.
