Anyone able to report on conditions in the Grand Rapids MN area? Best directions to head for the best snow?

Hey mngolf4, I'm the president of the Greenway club just east of Rapids in Calumet. The trails are firm after the rain on Sunday night. We got out and groomed all of our trails Sunday and Monday. Some icy areas but overall flat and decent. The Driftskipper club in Rapids was also out grooming this week and have all of their trails in and south of Grand Rapids groomed. Not much if any new snow since the big storm hit, but the trails have held up well. I have not heard anything about the taconite trail, but I can imagine they have groomed that one as well. We try to keep folks up to date on our facebook page "Greenway Snowmobile Club" Also the Itasca Driftskippers do a nice job posting on their Facebook page. I would say to come and enjoy the area and not a load of traffic.

Thanks rjensen450 - up here now running the Taconite. I’d rate it good to very good, better as we get towards Virginia. Trail was groomed last night.

Glad you got up and rode. We had the veterans ride on Saturday and had good trails all day. This area is holding up really well with little traffic. Happy Trails!
