Groomer slid off trail in to ravine.

This is how I spent Friday night - Saturday morning last weekend.
The drag slid out sideways on me and would not come out. Many hours of snowmobilers helping (thanks to all) and no luck.
Had to have the other groomer come out with no drag on it to pull it back on the trail.
Next year we will have a mega come along in the toolbox for sure.

It looks like we are done grooming. The winter flew by. Lots of fun and experiences out on the trails.
Already looking forward to next winter.

I can see how that happened in that spot! How do you like the Dubie drag? I like what I've seen and read so far.

Dubie drag is nice for sure. We have 2 of them. Had some hitch issues this season but now have that figured out. Some one did rip one of the front side cutters off of it hitting a rock breaking trail behind renze. It was then welded on. The night I got stuck I ripped it off again.

The club pres and wife went to the michigan groomer training - workshop last weekend. They got to test all the new groomers.
Dubie has this new setup where the front blade on the tractor has cutting blades like the drag. Then the drag behind is super short. Looks insane. Dubie has some cool stuff. It was all rigged on a case IH 150 with a track kit. Think this is what is going to end up replacing the John Deere we have which is a pos according to all the clubs and dnr. They say they last only 2 or 3 years.

Fendt is a very refined German tractor. Very high reliability, and high tech. But high $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Got to meet the guy who builds the Dubie drags last year. He seems to know what he's doing.

Old one is 5 years old so they are getting good use out of them per dollar spent. The new one is said to be way more high tech.

They are a very fine tractor. They brought a lot of tractor "tech" into this country. Way out front on IVT transmissions for years. European and domestic US becoming more, and more the same style as to features, and ergo's. Also as to "clean" exhaust emissions tech. But always seemed out of my $$$$$$$$ range.

Piston Buelly top quality equipment. Very durable also reliable. However I am not a fan of Mercedes diesel engines.Their durability is not top shelf in construction industry. Very unreliable as compared to other engine sources, and high cost to operate.
