It APPEARS that it would just be a "Wall hanger", based on this one: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=145011250 ,,,,,,,,,,6 bids, 5 bidders, sold for 187 with shipping, plus the transfer fee, had NR.

Based on only 1 between "current" and "completed" on GB, it is a rare gun, but rare doesn't always mean big bucks. However it is a great family heirloom to you and that should make it priceless.

If it is similar to the one on GB, it is very ornate and will look great on your mantle,,,,,,,,,,,is ya don't have a mantle it gives you a reason to build a fireplace!

I have learned never to sell any guns, its always better to let your kids have them. I have sold many and regret every sale, so now I just add to the collection

I would say the oldest boy gets the service revolver, My grampa was a cop and that is what he did.
