hand warmer problem

Right side works..left side doesn't..I checked it with a light tester and the light comes on and off with the heat switch but no heat. Is it time for a new grip?

probally. did you test at the grip location? if not could be a damaged wire

yes..right before the grip..3 wires..black.orng.orngWht..clipped one end on the neg battery post and the other pushed through shielding on the 2 ornages (hi low) and they both lit when switched..Wonder why..wonder if fixable.

go from + side of batt to grd wire with test lite may be a bad grd

Grip

Are you riding a ski doo? Both of my Rev's left grip went out. Replaced with Hot Grips. Simple 3 wire installation. I soldered the wire to existing wires did not want to take plug apart.

Yeah an 06 ren x. I am going to check ground tonight. Sucks BRP can't keep a hand warmer working for more than 3500 miles.

I have a buddy that has two of the same sleds (1 form him self and one for the wife) they are 800 ski doos I believe 2006 but no idea what model. We where riding with them news years weekend and hers went out and actually melted her glove. Then the weekend before super bowl we where riding with them again and his went out. On both sleds it was the left warmer.

Looks like I will be ordering a set of hot grips with the two wire and the resistor. Lots of info on doo talk.
