It was one year ago today I made a profile, and started to participate in this site. Prior to that I had only used the snow cover maps and camera network, as a guest, to assess snow conditions. And there were times that when I would google questions, and threads from tech talk would come up.
It's been a pretty cool year. I've never participated in any online discussion forums, or social media sites prior to this. Other than discussion forums that were required as part of online college courses. I've been involved in some fun discussions, some serious ones, and some that have been very helpful. I've learned some things that I didn't even know I didn't know. A few years ago, I didn't want a smart phone, but if I didn't have one now. I don't know if I'd be logged on. Makes it fun and easy to check in, see new posts, and see what's going on. If I had to turn on the PC to log on I most likely would not be a regular contributer. It'd be like before just for snow conditions.
John I'd like to thank you for having this site available to us. I've looked at the other snowmobile sites since I've started participating here, I like yours the best. Of course having been born and raised in the UP probably has alot to do with that. Also the UP being my most favorite place to ride. I still may get tech question input from other sites, from Google results, but I feel this will always be my home base.

I've totally enjoyed all the interaction with guys and gals that have the same kind of passion for the sport that I have. So to all of you THANK-YOU also.
