I have to do some welding on the rear door of this trailer, 8.5' x 24' race car trailer. My problem is this the sheets of alum. exterior are glued ( I assume) so how do you remove the "outer shell" without damaging it? This door skin has 4 oval tailights, 2 oval back up lamps. There is 2 sheets of alum to remove.

If it is Epoxy just heat it with a heat gun and use a thin sharp putty knife and once you get the heat right it will seperate really easy. Has to be fairly warm but not burning hot.

If it is doube sided tape you'll have to start working it apart with a thin sharp putty knife or something like that and use some solvent and patience.
