Heading north for the first ride of the season here in a couple of days to break-in the new sled. Can't wait. Just put the registration decals and MI trail permit on over the weekend. Snow looks good on the cams, and the forecast looks good too.

Made it back from up North...barely. Drove through some of the worst snow conditions I have seen in a while and turned an 8 hour trip into nearly a 12 hour trip. Green Bay to Milwaukee on I-43 was the worst of it.

First ride of the season was great. Plenty of snow in most areas and the trails, for the most part, were in good shape. There were definitely some thin spots and a couple of wet/sloppy spots, but they were few and far between. Those of you heading up this weekend, should see better conditions than we had, so enjoy!

We did all of our riding North of Houghton, so I can't say much about areas South. For those planning to ride to Copper Harbor, we were informed the gas station there will not open until the 17th (FYI).

We are getting snow as I type. The sled looks awesome and I bet you can't wait to rip it up on the new ride.
