Heated Glove Recommendations

I am trying to find a good pair of heated gloves for my dad. He has circulation issues and his finger tips get very cold/numb when riding/walking to his hunting blind. I'm sure he would also use them for other purposes as well but, primarily he wants a pair for hunting. He does fine once in his blind as he uses heat packs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I saw those and was impressed. Just don't know if he wants to spend that much. Any personal experience with these?

Gerbing products are well worth the money, as being warm and avoiding frostbite is actually priceless.

My wife had always had problems with keeping her hands warm no matter what I did for her (hand guards, many gloves etc.) until I got her set up with the Gerbing Gloves, problem solved.

The Gloves work good but I now have her setup with the heated Glove Liners and they really work, and if she doesnt adjust them down, they work too good. We were up in the UP on a really cold day and a few from our group had way frozen hands (those that really hurt warming up) and my wife thought her hands were plenty warm and when when she took her gloves off actually had a couple of blisters from the heat, lesson learned, now she adjusts them down.

Now she has the heated jacket liner which she uses under her uninsulated Jacket and stays toasty warm even on the coldest of days without all the bulk of mulitple layers.

I would go with the hardwire gloves, the wiring comes with Gerbing products, but I would also invest in the temp controller.

My 2 cents...

The best on the market is GERBING while the initial out lay may seem like a lot. You will quickly find they are worth thier weight in gold. What I have found from friends is once they get the first piece, they soon start adding the other parts. The cost is no longer a factor. Comfort becomes number one priority. I have it all from head to toe. Gloves, jacket, pants ,socks. And the same goes for my wife. We ride in 30 degree below 0 without a care about temperture. And don't have to drag along all that bulkie clothing.

I told him there are some "cheap" ones out there but, he wants to make sure he is getting a pair that will work. I saw that CastleX has a pair. Anybody have any experience with these. They look nice and there is a pair on Ebay for $100.
