Heated Socks

So my wife has a hard time keeping her feet warm and she wants to try heated socks. We've already spent a small fortune on different boot/sock combos, but she still gets cold. Anyone use any of the rechargeable socks available and were you happy with performance?

It starts with her feet, and once those are warm it'll be something else. Look into full body coverage with Gerbing gear, google it. It's designed for motorcyclists, but it will plug directly into your 12v snomo power. My wife has a disease which basically gives her low body temp and no circulation in hands and feet. She could not ride below 20° until we spent the ~$750 for the Gerbing stuff, socks, gloves, jacket and pants. They also offer rechargeable batteries to use when not on sled. Wasted lots of money on everything else before buying this.

Thx, I'll look into it. Yeah, you're right, socks first but hands will be next and then probably pants...price you pay to have your best friend happy and enjoying the sport with you.

My son's feet are always cold. The replaceable foot warmers have worked well this year. They have a sticky backing and just stick them right on top of the socks. No complaints and sounds a bit cheaper than the above suggestion. LOL! But I'm sure he is right, it will be a different body part next. GOOD LUCK!!!!
