Heel Clicker clutch kit

So I purchased a Heel Clicker 2 speed primary clutch kit at the Snow Show and was happy with my purchase, seemed like the design made sense to me. Got onto the internet when I got home and started reading and found some bad reviews. Which doesn't mean they are bad but just that people have had some problems with setting them up so I want to know if anyone on the site has run them and the thoughts on the initial setup he recommends.
I have an 09 IQ 600 Dragon so any set up tips would be helpful
Thanks

I dont have the 2 speeds, but have the drag-n-flys. I loved the stuff. Really woke the sled up. His setup was to light for my sled. I think I added around 5 grams from his baseline. But takes some tinkering. Belt life was MUCH improved. I have never broke a belt with his springs and weights. But he uses EPI springs and they dont last very long. They would break at 2,000 miles, like clockwork. No biggie, change it out in 5 mins.

I dont think he is in business anymore, websites gone. He did have some pretty huge issues back in the day with his weights coming apart. The would break and fly through the clutch guard and hood. Im not sure but those might have even been his earliest models of the 2 speeds. Might want to do a search.

If anybody has a Drag-n-fly 70g empty base weight laying around, Im interested. I wrecked one due to my lack of maintinence.

Here is the link they appear very similar to the Drag-n-flys except they have a moving weight that swings at the heal of the weight

Ok I did a little looking. The early versions of the 2 speeds blew apart. The later versions were billet and supposedly fine. Only other thing I read was the 2 speeds are harder to set up that the fixed arm weights. Like I said, I have the drag-n-flys and I spent a good amount of time setting them up. And they change quite a bit depending on conditions. But his claims of 10 more track hp are absolutely true in my case. I didnt track dyno it, but in racing back and forth with my riding buddies, the difference for me was HUGE.

As far as actual set up for 2 speeds, it looks like they a pretty different than mine because of the movable arm. My way of setting mine up was to load it up as heavy as I could and still pull top rpms. Obviously if you load the heck outta the shoulder and nothing on the tip, it will either bog off idle or pull like crazy(depending on your hp) but fall on its face up top. So you have to distribute the weight somewhat evenly. But once you have them set up properly you will have virtually no belt slippage. Traction is a big issue once set up right. But I had a POS hacksaw track.

I thought the same thing two years ago. I purchased it of a 07 Polaris Switchback. I thought the design was good so I tried it. I set them up per there recommendations and it caused the motor to over rev. Contacted Heal Clickers and they told me to add more weight but to do that I had to make clearance on the spider. So I did as recommended by the phone call. After several tries and adding the maximum weight allowed the rpm was finally dialed in I thought! It was very inconstant ranging from 7600 to 8200 on back to back full throttle runs! I changed back to stock and its rock solid to 8200 RPM! If I were you I would take them back unless you have allot of time to play with them and don't mind the inconstancy of there clutch kit! But that is just my opinion.

I have had them on my 99 pol. 600 for somewhere around 4ooo miles and they woke that sled up big time. never have had any issues yet. They pull very hard in midrange. I love them.
