The Contour HD Camera is a fix price item evryone that sells them has to charge the same amount, the only gain may be free shipping and no tax from some vendors. There were a couple of sites before Christmas for less but they have been all been changed now to $279.99.

I must admit , I have a Go Pro and thought it would be easy to get some video footage. Instead I find myself still playing around with getting footage and watching it play back at the end of a day. I would love to compare the 2 camera's and will someday buy 1 ( Contour ).

I have the Tachyon XC Micro. It is really small and captures decent video. It can be a bit tricky to know if it is on or off (1 beep when turned on, two beeps off, but can't always hear it with sled running) and is relatively low cost.
