Helmets - Is there an Existing Thread on This

Since I got back into riding about 8 years ago I have been using the same Vega modular helmet. It has been great and there is nothing wrong with it except for the fact that our CAT decided to use our HELMET BAG as a litter box. Wow does that stink. No, I am not making this up just to get a new helmet as I have been accused of. It is a coincidence that the Novi Snow Show is just around the corner. I do not want to spend a fortune on a helmet so what suggestions are there for a good mid-range modular helmet? If there are past threads let me know an I can go there.

I bought a CKX (made by Kimpex ), tranz model last year at Milwaukee snow show and was very pleased with its performance. Easy to flip up, breath guard worked. Nice helmet for the money.
Also look at the GMAX, some of them have LED'S on the back, a nice safety feature.

I think I saw the modular 2's for $145 there last year. I'm going to get another one if they're that cheap.
