Help with motofist boots

I haven't had an issue like this before, but I picked up some Motorfist stomper 2 boots last season, and everytime I use them, it's like my feet get sweaty before I get outside, and then if it's cold, I end up with cold feet. It's like the boots aren't breathing well enough, which doesn't seem right to me. Anyone else have this issue? Do I need different socks? I use some RU outsidea and wigwam fleece socks that worked fine with my older boots. I'm wondering if I should try some thinner socks.

You need socks that wick the moisture away from your skin. I used to have this issue with my original Trukkee boots...then I switched to Klim Adrenaline boots several years ago and never looked back. I used to wear Klim's socks but last couple years I have to wear support hose (Jobst) all the time because of something called lymphedema but still no cold feet issue.

I use just regular thickness moisture wicking socks. In fact I dont even own cotton socks anymore. And thats all I wear in my boots. Feet stay plenty warm. I wear Klim Adrenaline and Motorfist Stomper 2 as well.
The Klims breath better than the Stompers. But the Stompers arent bad at all, just not as good as the Klim. I imagine you have a sock issue.

Hoosier, I use Carhartt "Force" socks. They hold up, and work very well wicking moisture while working, casual, or play. Winter, or summer. I believe there are 3 height sizes? Very reasonable prices at Blain's Farm and Fleet. Also Blain's has Fox River Wick Dry sock liners.

Good to hear from someone else that has them. I think I'm going to try a thinner sock. I haven't had this issue with other boots.

I was going to get the Adrenalines but I came across these on clearance.
