Help with SLP system on 2007 Polairs 600 IQ (carb)

I damaged my pipe in a wreck so I installed a Slp exhaust system on a 2007 Polaris 600 IQ and am having jetting issues. The PTO side is considerably leaner than the other. I gutted the air box per the instructions but I did not install the recomended Flow Rite intake vents on the counsil. Do you think this could be causing the issue?

Also the Slp pipe is extremely temperature sensitive. The spark plugs show considerable changes every 10 degrees change in temperature. Would this be a concern for piston/engine damage? I am considering going back to the stock pipe as I do not want to have to rejet it several times every trip to the UP. If I go back to stock, which did not have any problems with temperature changes, I will need a new one or find one used. Any suggestions? I just want to enjoy my trips and not always working on the sled.

I have the SLP exhaust on my 600 carb and like it. I left my jetting the same because they come jetted rich from the factory. Over 3,000 miles not a problem. I did not gut my air box but I probally will for this winter.

Im curious where you ride and if you read your plugs occationally? After installing the pipe mine just ripped at home and the plugs were perfect, but when up in the UP it doesnt have the same pull and the plugs show vary lean even though it was same temp as home.

Would you like to sell your stock pipe?

600hoic - I have a used stock pipe and silencer if you are interested. It is off my 07 600 CFI Switchback. 1400 miles on it. Just took it off. Don't know if it is same for Carb and CFI 600's though. Email me if you are in need.
