Check out the Contour HD 1080 we sell, much nicer unit. We've been using them now for a couple years.

If you want form factor get the Contour GPS. The Contour HD produces HORRIBLE wind noise. The GPS is suppose to address that a bit. If you are going to overlay audio tracks and never use the original audio this isn't a big deal.

If you don't mind the looks the best camera for the money is the GoPro HD IMO. It reproduces audio 100x better than the Contour. I also feel it produces a smoother image. There are 100's of video on YouTube that compare the two. You can make your own decisions.

I have A dsr-100 Moto com Helmet cam Best Cam i ever bought !! the Vids are sweet and clear.. Yaaa some cords to play with but once you get over the coards inside you jacket its all good .. I use a 2 gig card and get 6 to 8 hrs of vid ,, HONEST TO GOD !! Take and buy some rechargeable batteries i use the Kodack ones and a Fanny pack to hold the recorder bateries and extra coard .. tape up coards and on the lower lip of your helmet there should be a trim pice put velcro between that and helmet then stick cam mount inbetween works great remember red is record yellow is stand by .. you will love the vids and well worth the $$$ you spend .. Make shoure you read the hand book carfully when trying to play back on a tv if you push wrong button you could loose your whole vid you have recorded .. I did that after a trip and was very mad at my self .. hope this helps you out !!

WOW....that's not how my ContourHD sounds. Wonder if something is wrong with it. You can adjust the mic sensitivity on their website if you plug the camera in while logged in.

When riding sleds the exhaust over comes the wind on the new Contours. We've had GREAT luck with them, the Go Pro is just big and prehistoric looking.
