I have a 2010 Apex coming soon with the 136 track. What would be the equivalent of 144 studs in the 121 track. It also has the 1 1/4" inch track I believe unless someone here knows different. Dealer has some 1.45's, is this too long? Thanks. Was getting nervous on the other site.

Might want to check totallyyamaha they have a dedicated board for apex's. If I recall 1.45 is the longest you can run. Need to add tunnel protectors, is this new and stock?? Extroverts will change what you can do also.

I have 108 1.45's on my track, 2 on each bar.
Works ok, but be sure you have good carbides on.
I get a lot of push in the corners from the longer track.
Tried the Woodies Dualies then the Studboys and now I'm going with the Bergstrom Triple Points.

Did the woody's duallys not work well for you? What size were you running? Are the tripple points an anti darting also?

I run 108 up the center with 8"Bergstrom Triples as well on 2007 Attack. No darting. With 2010 you need to beef up tunnel protectors on rear heat exchanger to keep from ripping it up. Ck TY for all the details or PM Fusion he just studded new 2009 Apex GT LTX.

Shaun, I have an '09 Apex LTX GT and I put 162 in it, down the middle using a Woody's pattern template. I used 4 / 2 / 4 pattern, with double backers on the 4 stud valleys. I'm running Bergstrom Triple Point 8" per Whitedusts recommendation. In about 15 days I'll be able to tell you how it handles if God don't wreck all the snow by then.

Ok, so 162 studs, a protector for rear heat exchanger and good wearbars. I've heard about the tripple points before but not sure the significance of them. Can I use 1.375 studs with single round backers?????

I always check with the dealer for exact stud length. I used Extreme Max 1.4's (I believe that's inches but package does not say) but that does not translate exactly lengthwise to other stud manufacturers. They all measure them differently.
