I am thinking about getting a 2007 Fx...tell your likes / dislikes

I am currently riding a 600 two stroke...will it have enough power for trail riding (i realize it's not a lake racer, and don't expect 100 across the lake..but I don't want to get left in the dust ridin with my friends either)??

What kinda MPG are you getting??

I heard they handle squirelly...any set-up tips?? Duallys etc??

Thanks

Is there any where that rents them? I'd wouldn't mind riding 1 for a day to see if it would work or not. Interested to see what the owners come back for comments.

lightweight, easy on gas, one oil change a year

make sure to put higher windshield on

if ya need more power, just add a turbo, lol....it will be a nice little suprise for your friends when you hit the gas

More of a fun second sled ditch banger than full time sled. Think of it as a toy that you like to mess around on. Better off with used Apex/Vector or 07 & up Nytro that you will keep for many years for trail rides.

Just got back yesterday! I rode my Daughters 07 GT for few miles a couple times & they are great fun! It was not anything like my Apex LTX, but fun in its own way. Both my Daughters have 121 skids & they get fishy at times for sure, but nothing you can't get used too. I'm going to look in to stretching them to 136s over the summer for next year!
75 was all the top end had with my 285 lbs on it!

well i cant use my profile ever since the change i have not been able to use my so i will use my dad's
I have a 07 phazer fx i love it has plenty of power in the woods lakes not so much it will run with most up to 65mph it takes a couple times to get used to the dirtbike feel on a sled but it's very roomy bars are right height and the suspenions works good for me the more u abuse the sled the better it rides over the bumps like going faster. My friends ride 600's and i can do anything they can.

If u do get it put a freeride track 1.5 inch will help with the backend not being so squirley and also maybe some skis but other then that its very good my dad has a 151 attak and he says if yamaha made a phazer with 100hp he would sell his attak and get a phazer cause there so fun to ride and i usally got 20-22 mpg on trails in powder 15-18mpg so not to bad and oil consumoption is great so there's so info to possibly make ur deisicon easier.
