For all you JD'ers who have served -- regardless of branch.....active, reserve, or guard.....past or present......thank you. You're the best. Enjoy your day, you've earned it!

Russ, I’m so glad you posted this thread.

The following are photos I took of a Veterans Memorial built by the people of Kelliher, MN and the surrounding area. Kelliher is a small northern town (pop 262) that I drive through on my way north.

I had seen the project progressing over the last year and on a recent trip I noticed it was finished so I stopped. It is beautifully done and honors the veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine. I had only intended to stop for a few minutes but ended up staying much longer. I’m sure I’ll be stopping again. It is a regular reminder to say thanks to all Vets and your families for the sacrifices made in your service to our country.

Thanks Vets!!!

No-one honors our military like small town America!
(It's just too bad about the spelling error on the plaque. Sad. Embarrassing.)

And let us not forget those who paid the ultimate price. It is because of them we have our freedom. Happy Veterns Day everyone.

I go around work every year and thank Vets for what they have done for us and around during the day..
I myself did not serve but my 2 uncles served in WW2 and my dad was in the service just after the war ended in the AF..

Because of you we have things like sleds and the internet to be free and do what we want to make of ourselves ....

Thanks Guys and Gals
