I tired to climb that BFH behind South Range, half way up I hooked a moob on the bar and rolled the RTGheyDe all the way to the bottom. Looked like a garage sale.

Skip was filling up at Krupps yesterday morning and he said he was going to put on a good show. Unforunately I could not stay.

Skip is daa the man,,,,,,he donates more time and possibly cash into this sport and atving between the Master racing circuit and MI Trail than anyone out there. So show up and pat his long hair azz on the back.We have been racing his circuit on and off for the 10 years and all I can say he is 1 class act.

Rocketman it is FANTASTIC people like you that make it worthwhile.

Plus it is the racers, like YOU that put on the show.

It is all the members of Mi-TRALE that deserve the credit.

I am nothing but a speck of dirt on a woodtick...

It was a great event Skip! Couldn't believe the people, both vehicles, and sleds! Was cool watching the 600's trying to open up the red course!

Thanks Nytro, 09m8, and Rocketman!

I never thought the event would be as big as it was! That is due to the drivers, officials, and of course THE FANS!

I only wish I could somehow thank all the fans for turning out!

fantastic show

congrats Skip, hope it all paid off.The day couldn't have been better weather wise, the turn out was ''FAN-TASTIC'', hope all behaved, and did us all proud by respecting the land, rules and paid to attend so that there can be another event. Can't thank the land owners enough for the op to bring this event back to the area. Hopefully it will return and possiably lead to the return of the motorcycles.I can't belive what a economic boost it brought to the area as well as surrounding areas. Talked to many busniess owners from Twin Lakes to Hancock they had their best day of the season on Sat. hope they keep that in mind if it should happen again next year. Glad we were able to do the little that we did, the crew that came to do the grounds work were so nice to have met, they have a place to stay next year! Hope that this will be a good kick off to your charity that you want to establish. Again great job and hopefully next year there will be less competing events and the crowds will be bigger! Keep up the good work that you do for us outdoor fanatics.

Thanks Lori and Dave for your help and kind words.
Thanks Firemen, it means a lot to read your post.

The WINTERNATIONALS at Whealkate Bluff 2011 will be Saturday, Jan 15th. We may go to a Friday Qualifying and bring back our Semi-Pro/SPORT Division.

The landowners were GREAT to work with and were pleased with the event. They prefer us not to run on Sunday if we run a 2 day event. They have given us permission to do some work on the parking this summer. I'm meeting with them next week to see if we can widen the hill so fans to the north can get a better view of the action.

While we had support from some business's, to make this event even bigger I am hoping we'll get more sponsorship. I didn't know that the event had the economic impact it had, so what Lori said makes me feel good.

We raised enough money to start the 'legal work' on forming the Motorsport Enthusiasts that CARE (METC) foundation. Now I am trying to find a lawyer and accountant that can help us out without charging us too much.

Thanks again to all those that came out and watched! The Fans were FANTASTIC!

Now it is on to Sidnaw for the Drag Races on Feb 13th, then Munising on March 6th and 7th. I'll be announcing the 525 race in Wausau on Jan 30th and 31st, then announcing for the ORA at Sauk Centre, MN the following weekend. If anyone that attended the hillclimb is at any of these events, please stop by and let me know what you thought.
